What game is worth that hard-earned
dollar? Look no further for the answer! The staff at BeVar Systems takes the time to
carefully play and test every game we can get our hands on and pass on our reviews and
thoughts on these titles to you. Though we all play test each of the games you will see
reviewed, there are our personal favorites and those titles we hate. Just so you know who
is reviewing the titles you're interested in, here's a little bit about each of us and the
games we love.

The head honcho and usually the editor du jour
(though I can occasionally slip one past him, like this page). We're not really sure what
type of game he usually likes, but what we do know is that he loves Half Life
and Team Fortress Classic (see our reviews). It goes
well beyond "love" in my opinion, bordering on some sort of sick obsession that
no one really seems to understand but him. He makes a pretty good Team Fortress
Classic Heavy Weapons Guy and a great Scout (he dies very well, too). |

I'm the real gamer in the group.
I have been playing games for well over half my life (possibly in an obsessive manner,
possibly not... you choose). Though I have played at least one title in every genre of
game available, I do have my favorites. I typically favor simulations like The Wing
Commander Series, X-Wing: Alliance (see the review!) and the Mechwarrior series, strategy games like Civilization,
Command & Conquer and Dune 2000, and role-playing Games such as the Ultima
Series and Baldur's Gate. I am the Heavy Weapons Guy ("Jazz eats
Scouts!")for Team Fortress Classic and the best damn starship pilot on this
end of the galaxy. I also will be responsible for putting all of these reviews together

Ok, so he's French. There's nothing we can do
about it. Believe me, I've tried. I think it may be something genetic. Despite this
obvious failing Jérôme is one hell of a gamer. He enjoys a wide variety of games as
well, favoring Sports (including whatever soccer title is the most recent), role playing (Diablo)
and Action (Half Life/Team-Fortress) games. He's no slouch at simulations like X-Wing:
Alliance, either, though he'd end up as floating debris flying against me. He is the
Soldier for Team Fortress Classic, and surrenders a surprisingly small amount for
a Frenchman. He also happens to make the best damn coffee on this side of the Altantic.

So that's us. We don't pull any punches here, so you don't have to guess at what is a good
